Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Marokko Tur ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Booking information — your name, email address, travel dates, group size, and any special requirements you share when reserving an experience.
- Contact messages — name, email address, and the content of messages sent through our contact form or WhatsApp.
- Usage data — pages visited, time spent on site, and device/browser information collected automatically through standard web analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Confirm and manage your bookings and send you pre-trip briefings.
- Respond to your questions and support requests.
- Send you important updates about your booking (changes, cancellations, weather alerts).
- Improve our website and the experiences we offer.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your personal data for unsolicited marketing without your consent.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:
- Local guides and drivers — solely to fulfil your booked experience (name, group size, contact number).
- Service providers — trusted tools that help us operate the website (hosting, analytics), bound by confidentiality agreements.
- Legal authorities — when required by Moroccan law or to protect the safety of our customers and staff.
4. Payment Data
Marokko Tur does not process or store payment card information online. All payments are made locally in cash on the day of the experience. No financial data passes through our website.
5. Cookies and Analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site. These include session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) and analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) that help us measure traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work correctly if you do.
6. Data Retention
We retain booking records and correspondence for up to 3 years for accounting and dispute-resolution purposes. Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 8).
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Our website is served over HTTPS. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
